Web Control, phone number
« on: August 20, 2012, 07:31:55 PM »
I have just update through Google play to avast! mobile security version 2.0.2750.

Seeing that I can link to my.avast.com account, I entered my log on details but tried to enter the phone number. It states I need the inter national prefix which for the UK is +44 I entered it as that.

But I don't know if I should be dropping the leading 0 (as I would if dialling a UK land line) in my mobile number or not ?

Hi,

for Czech Republic it's +420 so +44 should be fine for UK.

My main concern is if I should drop the 0 at the front of the actual mobile phone number +4475..... or not, e.g. +44075.....

If adding the international prefix (and the '+') you ALWAYS drop the '0'

Thanks, that was my first thought as that is what you do on (fixed) landlines, I couldn't find anything to confirm that is the case for mobile numbers also.
