In my opinion Facebook is full of security vunerabilities and also a massive intrusion into your privacy regardless of the settings you choose. I mean do you personally now everyone you are connected to? My advice do what i did....Close your Facebook account and pick up the phone, you will feel so much better for soing so

You would be surprised how many people from when I was still in school I've been able to contact.
Something that would never have happened by picking up the phone. 
Just stay away from all those 3rd party apps.

This is very true! Yes ok you caught me in one of my anti Facebook moments, which i have a lot recently. But, even i must admit it is a very useful website for getting back in touch with long lost friends

When ever the Facebook topic comes up at the avast! Security Seminar, I always tell my audience:
I never accept any hugs or kisses or, any other 3rd party add ons, and wait to get the hugs and kisses from my wife once I get back home.
