IE-8 issues??
« on: June 08, 2009, 06:34:49 PM »
My computer Was  having fatal errors.  It shut down and restartED…saying there has been a serious error .  The only changes I’ve made is upgrading to IE 8, and downloading Flash CS4 MISSING MAnUAL compressed files.

So I ran Avast  and did a thorough scan, but found 0 infected files.
checked the c drive for errors, but it didn't help

I did system restore and so far so good
No more crashes so far.
I’m running MalwareBytes, now and am currently using firefox.

Do you think IE8  was the problem?

Btw the reason I thought it might be a virus because I recently found that site keezmovies.com
It is a porn tube video site… but the computer didn’t act funny or crash while I was there.  Just to be safe I’m going to try to steer clear

Hi jthomson3rd!

I don't know what is/was the problem on your PC, but the keezmovies.com seems to be a clean site:

You can always try SuperAntiSpyware if you still feel unsecure.
