Hi Bob,

Seems a few companies are starting to give away a free year. Aluria is doing this now at www.download.com but for me there is no need to switch avast! does what it needs to do and I'm happy so why change it? After all avast! was rated #1 antivirus product of the year from SC Magazine! ;D

P.S. To check out Aluria's offer click the link http://www.download.com/Aluria-Security-Center/3000-8022_4-10509350.html

Hi folks,

Thanks for the offer, but no. Not only that avast is doing what it should for me, but what I learned through visiting this forum is an additional bonus no free one year program can bring. Thank you avast team for giving me the possibility to develop my security awareness (and forum members also).

Cybersecurity is more of an attitude than anything else. Avast Evangelists.

Use NoScript, a limited user account and a virtual machine and be safe(r)!

It  seems that CA never participates in av-comparatives.org tests.
Certainly Alwil is always tested and compared with other avs. :)
