It appears that you pressed Run Fix as opposed to scan

Press the scan button and attach the generated log

Run this fix and after the reboot let me know how it is behaving

Warning This fix is only relevant for this system and no other, using on another computer may cause problems

Be advised that when the fix commences it will shut down all running processes and you may lose the desktop and icons, they will return on reboot

Run OTL
  • Under the Custom Scans/Fixes box at the bottom, paste in the following

Code: [Select]
:Commands
[CREATERESTOREPOINT]

:OTL
DRV - File not found [Kernel | On_Demand | Stopped] -- C:\Program Files\Baidu Security\PC Faster\3.7.0.0\PCFApiUtil.sys -- (PCFApiUtil)
DRV - [2013/09/03 18:59:02 | 000,047,456 | ---- | M] (Baidu, Inc.) [Kernel | Boot | Running] -- C:\WINDOWS\system32\drivers\Bhbase.sys -- (Bhbase)
O4 - HKCU..\Run: [MyCuteBuddy] "C:\Program Files\My Cute Buddy\myCuteBuddy.exe" "file:///C:/Program Files/My Cute Buddy/Content/Cute Kitty/piticho.buddy" /m /u File not found

:Commands
[resethosts]
[emptytemp]
[Reboot]
  • Then click the Run Fix button at the top
  • Let the program run unhindered, reboot the PC when it is done
  • Open OTL again and click the Quick Scan button. Post the log it produces in your next reply.

Could you go to Control Panel > Administrative Tools > Services
Right click Avast firewall and select properties
Select the dependencies tab
Are there any indicated problems there
