Search results cause malicious site notice
« on: May 11, 2012, 03:56:30 AM »
This has happened on Google and Yahoo. I did a search, and got a popup that I had entered a malicious site. WTH?

When avast! alerts, it does not necessarily mean that you have entered a malicious site. Cross-scripting is popular these days. You could visit a site that was hacked and contains javascript to a malicious domain, which avast would block, thus an alert is shown.

Can you provide an image of the alert?
