phone turned off
« on: April 16, 2014, 02:28:54 PM »
What's the matter of this app if it doesn't work on the phone while it turned off?
I can't even mark the phone as lost while the phone turned off.

And how do you expect software to work if a pc/phone is not on?

Airplane mode is not the same as turned off.
It disables certain things like sound.
If a phone really is turned of no software (not even the os) will be running.
Software can only run if the system/device is on.

Have you checked on my.avast.com ?

Of course it would as airplane mode disables all connection methods so it doesn't interfere with the planes electronics ( wifi, 3g, 4g should all be disabled when in airplane mode )

OK,  last question.
If someone wipe my phone while on airplane mode
The anti theft still will have root permission after the wipe?
