Have this problem for the last 3 days. I am unable to download attachments (any type) from my yahoo account and also notice that I am also unable to attach file to email. I have checked every possible solutions suggested on Yahoo on-line help but the problem remains. I am not a tech savvy .... so anyone could help me with this is much appreciated.
So far, this is what I have done and found - using Google Chrome and Avast Internet Security (Version 7.0.1456):-
1) I am able to download the same file in hotmail account using the same laptop (Wi-FI). :)
2) I am able to download the same file in Yahoo Mail using Google Chrome when logging onto another computer in office (sorry, don't know which virus software they use)
3) I am NOT able to download the same file in Yahoo on another laptop, which is using McAfee at home.
4) I am NOT able to download the same file in Yahoo using any other browsers, FireFox, Internet Explorer.
Does this have anything to do with now I am in Armenia? I have no problem at all when I first arrived in Armenia, using the same laptop, same home Wi-Fi, so I cannot understand why the problem now. I did not use the laptop for over two weeks while I was back in UK, this problem started when I got back to Armenia again. I can access my Yahoo account and downloading the file without a problem while back in UK using AVAST (with same license number).
Any help in solving this is much appreciated. Thank you.
