Microsoft seems to have changed the WinPE licensing

Possibly new ones created.

What I gleaned from the discussion was old existing versions of WINPE work fine. I have both an Avast Rescue CD that works fine and one for Paragon's Disk Manger Pro 9.0 that also works fine on backing up and restoring WIN 7 images. I also run a dual boot XP and WIN7 setup. I don't use the XP bootloader though but use EasyBCD.

BTW- I am still peeved Avast has never fixed the inability to select drives to scan in the Rescue CD.
