avast 9 and windows 7 wakes from sleep

avast updated today to v 2014.0.9.2006. since the install my system no longer goes into sleep mode, and if I put it to sleep, it wakes itself in about 10 minutes. I've looked through the settings and cannot find anything  causing this, but the system did go to sleep, and stay asleep previous to this update. Nothing else has been installed or changed in the last 3 months.

any ideas how to fix this, or how to go back to version 8?

Try updating to 2014.9.0.2011
