The avast! Mobile Security forum http://forum.avast.com/index.php?board=37.0 would have been the better place to ask, perhaps one of the moderators can move it there.

If you disable to anti-theft module that should allow you to switch out the sim-card to yours and have it accepted when you enable the anti-theft module.

Your first step is to ask in the correct section of the forum, follow the link that DavidR supplied you.

Do you mean you want to change the screen name displayed in the forums ?
Or in my.avast.com (unrelated to avast! Mobile Security), but a name can be used in the profile settings, you wold have to log on there and change it.
Or do you mean on the phones settings no name that I'm aware of ?

If you have got your own google account you can associate that with the market place (not Google Play). When you connect to the market place, you should be able to access settings the three dots top right of the screen and select Accounts, there you should be able to switch from your wife's account to your own google account. Though that may depend on your android version, mine was 4.0.4 and now 4.1.1.

Other than that I have no idea what you are talking about in regard to your wife's id and the avast mobile security as I can see no id branding on mine or any setting to set one.
