HI I was wondering if I could ask a question. I was just wanting to now when you register for the free antivirus when I put my name and email address and my gender in the free license form I was just wanting to now when I push send is it a secure form and where does the information go to.

I think they need to know this for statistical purposes..

Exactly. All it is used for so Avast can track how many users of the free version there are. If it bothers you then make a disposable email account.
