Avast false alarm for executables created by D language
« on: June 06, 2017, 05:59:40 PM »
The D Programming Language is used by Facebook, Ebay, Remedy Games and hedge funds.

Your product falsely detects executables produced by the dmd reference compiler as being malware.

A pity, because I was considering alternatives for 100 odd licenses for work to replace our existing AV (not Avast).

It's apparently not easy to report this problem by email.

Please see here for the report.
