[Resolved]Should F12 boot menu be enabled?

I tried to boot ubuntu from the live dvd i have of it but it didn't work  :-[.   but i seen in the F2 setup menu it said F12 Boot menu was disabled should that be enabled?

It is enabled by default... Isn't it working?
When i press F12 at boot up i just get a loud BEEP BEEP sound O.O   So Should i enable it?

Generally (depending on the computer model):
F8 calls the boot manager
F12 or Del call the boot drive
F10 calls the Windows restoration
F2 calls setup

It shouldn't be a beep, unless your typing "too much" the F12 key...
