Title: avast Browser Cleanup Tool Q
Post by: Chim on March 12, 2013, 03:44:18 PM
Does the avast Browser Cleanup Tool search for and remove only Toolbars that are deemed possibly dangerous?

Yesterday I ran it on my sister's computer and it declared it clean.
At that point, Incredibar and IMVU Toolbar were still in my sister's computer.  I subsequently manually removed them with Revo Uninstaller.

So ARE Incredibar and IMVU Toolbar something that the avast Browser Toolbar was supposed to have detected and removed?  Does avast need to add those 2 Toolbars to the Tool's list?  Or are they not considered dangerous and that's why they were purposely skipped?

Browser Cleanup Tool is useless same as Software Updater. You
already have Revo Uninstaller.I also recommend AdwCleaner.
