Hi guys,

I'm trying to deploy to a couple of laptops on my domain using Avast! Small office administration's web interface.

Avast is currently installed on a Domain Controller and the user used to deploy has Domain Admin permissions.

Client side I've disabled windows firewall and also unticked "Use Sharing Wizard (Recommended)" in Folder options.

I can ping the clients from the server and vice versa.

Can you think of anything else which could be stopping my deployments?

Thanks for the quick reply! All clients are on Windows 7, file sharing is on. Any other ideas?

Find the deployment error message in the Hob history page and let us know what errors do you see there..

Check your remote install log for the exact progress of the deployment task, post the relevant portion of the log so we can get an idea of why it fails.

TL-LAP-05 (No network provider accepted the given network path [1203])

Is this what you need?

Only connected to 1 wired network at the moment (also on a domain on said network). No other network issues happening & I can ping each way :(

Yes that's what I am after.

Could you nslookup the machine's hostname and then its IP address.
After that just compare the results i.e. check if the hostnames and IP addresses match.

Can you try to access the following path from the server: \\TL-LAP-05\c$
