Need help on "false positives."

HELP!

I just encountered the same problem that Jovy had with the "false positives" on:

virus: Win95:Matyas
c:\WINDOWS\SYSTEM\pav.sig

virus: Win32:Kuang2
c:\WINDOWS\SYSTEM\ActiveScan\imscan.dll

virus: Win95:Matyas
c:\WINDOWS\SYSTEM\ActiveScan\pav.sig

When they appeared during the scan, I had them put into the Virus Chest.

Are these safe to delete from the Chest or do I need to find some way to restore them?

Thanks for any help you might be able to give me!

Thanks for the help DavidR.

At this point my brain is tired...after reading the information in the thread you so kindly posted, am I correct in thinking that it is ok to delete those 3 files and not worry about them anymore??

Sorry to be so dense today. I'm not always this way!!  ;)

Thanks again!
