Title: Mi equipo no me reconoce el Avast

Hola, he instalado en mi ordenador la última versión del Avast Antivirus, es la primera vez qye pongo este antivirus en mi ordenador. Es un  Windows XP y ya instalado y en funcionamiento tengo dos problemas:

1. El centro de seguridad no me lo reconoce.
2. Cuando me meto en Internet tengo que paralizar su función porque sino me da error en la página de Internet.

¿Cómo puedo solucionarlo?¿Qué debo hacer?

Is it the first time you install an antivirus or the first time for Avast? If you had another AV(s), which one(s)? Because remnants of some antivirus programs stay even though you uninstall them. And this situation causes similar troubles to the ones you stated.

Which antivirus software did you use before avast?
Norton? McAfee?

Firstly, uninstall Avast by Control Panel. Then use the removal tool of Avast: http://files.avast.com/files/eng/aswclear.exe

After that run the removal tool of Norton: ftp://ftp.symantec.com/public/english_us_canada/removal_tools/Norton_Removal_Tool.exe

Then install Avast again.

okei, lo he hecho y ahora se esta escaneando el sistema en busca de virus, luego comprobare si se ha solucionado o por el contrario no.
