Network connections blocked
« on: December 07, 2012, 05:39:28 PM »
Hi, I have this problem from 2 days till now on some computers. I have some kind of virus that blocks every network connections. It infects the file tcp.sys and disables the avast resident protection also. It seems that it infects only Windows XP. It doesn't work in safe mode also. Do you have any solution?

Sersistemi welcome to Avast! forum

You might have a problem with a false detection that occured with VPS 121205-1 and eliminated modified tcpip.sys in Windows XP. To fix your problem apply "Fix avast! XP NETWORK" found here:
