I and running XP, everytime I open chrome I get SafeZone Browser, I don't want it and can't find where to turn it off. I search the forum and the place to turn it off on right clicking the A in the task bar don't have the same as the forum (it not there to un-select) and in the avance probram under Additional Protection its not there either. I don't want it!

Oh, i just asked the same thing!
Didn't see this post :/
SafeZone needs to be a voluntary action, not forced on you every time the window opens.

We found the problem. Webrep plugin sends some requests which cause switching to SafeZone.
It'll be fixed in next program update (next week, I guess).
I can't wait...I guess I'll have too. ???

Allow me to join the chorus. I am trying to work, and this SafeZone nonsense keeps attacking my screen and disabling my work. Make it stop! I'm using Vista and I have to use Chrome, Firefox and IE all at the same time for my work.

SafeZone Browsing keeps turning itself on, and I'm using the Avast free! (Just did it!) I shouldn't even have it! I can get back to my Chrome by using the green arrow or the turn off, but it's really annoying. Any suggestions for getting rid of it?

See my reply above. ;)

This has to rank up there with the stupidest ideas ever conceived. Have you folks ever heard of the word "optional"?
For those of us that are just mere mortals, how DO you turn off "Webrep"?
