At Technical's & others request, here is list of our error codes:

42000 [UnknownError]
42001,2 [License is valid/expired]
42003 AVAST_UNWANTEDEXCEPTION   [Exception found in code]
42004 AVAST_FOLDERISFILE      [Can not create folder -> same file exist

42005 AVAST_COMPRESSIONERROR   [Error while compressing data]
42006 AVAST_OFFLINEFILE      [File is not present on drive -> migrated to offline device !!!]

Bump.

Is it time to update this list, as there seems to be a range of errors not included, 8 digit codes beginning 0xxxxxxx and 2xxxxxxx. Perhaps with a more user friendly explanation.

Primarily those related to AAVM errors/warnings.
e.g.
AAVM - scanning error: x_AavmCheckFileDirectEx: avfilesScanReal of C:\Documents and Settings\User\Application Data\SUPERAntiSpyware.com\SUPERAntiSpyware\PROCESSLIST.BIN failed, 0000A413. 

SYSTEM   1460   Function setifaceUpdatePackages() has failed. Return code is 0x20000004, dwRes is 20000004.

This 20000004 being a very common occurrence.

Also any commonly featuring in the setup.log file.

I keep getting this code when updating..0.0000008Err:Not enough storage is available to process this command. any advice? thanks

Roughly 8 year old thread.
Thins have changed.
e.g. there is now the behavior shield.
Are there new error codes and/or one (or more) of the old ones changed ?

I've notified Avast on the other channel. :) That's usually helped to get a quick response.
