Hi
I just manually updated the virus definition. 

Was 000784.0 updated to 071025.0  is this right, as when i go to avast home page it times out.
I just tried another manual update and now gets error: Cannot connect to server.

Yup, it's right. Now the vps number is the date. Web servers are healthy and running ok.

Just shows how observant i was i didn't even click it was the date .

MM for some reason i cannot log inti avast home page all other sites i go to works alright.

A well i just have to wait and see how it goes

Hi

It just manually updated then,  but i got several times error cannot connect to the server.


Strange i have changed noting, but now i can log into avast home page and is updating with no problems
  Must have been the gremlins at work ;D

I noticed the change too, so much so that I captured a screenshot of it and was going to ask the same question, why the change as I too didn't twig the date format either ;D

That will do for the next 99 years before we need to change again, by which time I shan't be overly concerned about anti-virus solutions, just worms ;D

Just keeping an eye on the opposition  ;D
Nothing wrong with playing around innocently as long as you come home at the end
 this is RC1 of their newest version which expires on 1/11/2007 so its almost finished.
