Sorry, I'm an EX-FAN of AVAST that wants to come back but is awaiting a more stable and secure version (as I had lots of troubles since AVAST 5 while it's ok with AVIRA). Testing the PANDA on scanning whole computer it found 3 viruses at 14% scan then stopped for reboot as it wasn't able to delete it. Looks more like FALSE POSITIVES to me. Let you know... :o

Couldn't your problem with Avast! have been caused by you having MBAM on access along with your AV? I don't think that's a good idea.

I was told there were no conflicts in having an on access AV + an on access ANTISPYWARE and AVIRA PREMIUM is friendly to them +PANDA CLOUD AV but AVAST gave me 10 years of PARADISE with version 4

I booted normal mode, it deleted ADTM and COM COM cookies and it is long but the scan goes on at 15% and more, just would like it to be faster!!! :D

As you are testing things right now...
Maybe you want to test this, too..?

PANDA CLOUD AV scanned my whole 350 000 files computer in 2.5 hours to detect 3 viruses that were in fact FP (REVO UNINSTALLER AND SANBOXIE.EXE entries in the USERS/MICROSOFT folder) it wasn't able to neutralize. It's in the MICROSOFT FOLDER!!! It did neutralize 2 cookies. It interfered somewhat yesterday after the scan with MBAM and AVIRA on reboot but now everything is fine on my PC.
As for trying the v.590 of AVAST 5, I hear it's still Beta. I read many users reporting too many problems. Think I'm gone wait a while though it's been 6-7 months without AVAST now! :(

5.0.590 is stable, problems you read in the thread refer to 5.0.584...!
After 6-7 months it's really worth a try, imo... ;)

By the way, I finally found out Panda Cloud AV is considered by specialists as full-pledged AV and cannot be run aside AVIRA or AVAST. A misconception I had. I have now to uninstall it. ::)

Yeah. Selling a technology that is not exactly that technology... Shame.
