Title: GET BACK A FILE FROM QUARANTINE

How can I get back a file that has been quarantined ?

Right click on the avast! a-ball icon in the system tray and select Start avast! antivirus.  Select the skull icon (which is the virus chest)  select the file you want to restore.  Click file in the menu bar, and select restore.

Why you want to do that? Before you placed in the virus chest Avast normally has detected it as infected. Why you want to put back a infected file on your system? Unless you are really really stupid, this doesn't make sense.

Please tell what file it is, what was it original location and with what virus is it infected.

Yes, Artas has a vaild point.  If it is infected, you might as well kill it, unless it is a document, where you could recover the contens with somthing like notepad.
