Avast Mobile Security in dual sim phone with Android 2.3.4
« on: June 15, 2012, 06:09:42 PM »
Hi!
I've a dual sim phone with Android 2.3.4 and I wonder what happens if I install Avast Mobile Security on it. Does it recognise the two cards or not?
Thanks

I'm not sure as my phone has only one card.
But avast! has a white list and, for sure, more than one card could be at white list.
So, most probably, it won't have a problem with two cards ;)

Hi,

we have a dual SIM device here as well and it's working fine on it so yeah, should be no problem.

dual SIM devices are not fully supported, as stated here:

if it works its fine - but unfortunately we can not guarantee that it works. Android does not provide APIs to handle dual-SIMs correctly to 3rd party apps.
