iiNetUsage Gadget flagged as Malware
«

Hi,
I'm the author of the Windows Sidebar gadget, iiNetUsage. This gadget displays the internet quota usage for people with ADSL with iiNet (
http://www.iinet.net.au
).
I've had a few users complain that over the last few days Avast now picks up my gadget as malware.
How do I go about getting this resolved?
The gadget can be found at
http://emerson.kirk-burnnand.com/iiNetUsage.zip
Thanks,
Emerson

Send the sample to
virus@avast.com
zipped and password protected with the password in email body, a link to this topic might help and false positive in the subject.

Update:
I have just downloaded the zip file and I'm not getting an alert on the file in the zip. I'm using avast VPS 080627-0 (latest version). So I would suggest the users ensure they have a) the latest version of your tool and b) the latest avast VPS version.
