Title: Problem with Dailymotion
Post by: Jtaylor83 on October 20, 2010, 10:26:16 AM
Every time I try to watch a video on Dailymotion, it gets redirected to a blank page. When I turned off Javascript, the video plays normally. Same thing happened when I tried to watch a video on my desktop PC.

You might want to reword the title as at first I thought this might be a spammer trying to flog something to improve bowel motions ;D

Sorry I can't help with your Dailymotion problem though, my broadband connection is very slow.

Edit: OK, went ahead and tried it, just started a few of the various clips and they all started OK using firefox 3.6.11 and scripts allowed for dailymotion.

Well looks like the problem is with Jtaylor83's dailymotion, I suggest a good suppository which should clear the blockage (sorry I couldn't help myself).

You didn't say what browser you are using or if you have any add-ons, etc. that might have an impact ?
Though if such video clips work on youtube, etc. they should also work with dailymotion.

If Jtaylor83 went to PROFILE then Modify Profile then Forum Profile Information then update your Signature: with information like my signature as this helps the helpers offer pertinent advice.

He might not have to take a suppository but get better advice.  ;D

I sent a bug report to Dailymotion telling them that it redirects to a blank page when I click on a link to a video. They sent me a response through my email telling me that they were aware of the bug and by now, the problem was fixed. No more redirects to blank page.
