New Wireless Laptop
« on: September 10, 2008, 10:24:07 AM »
Hi Folks,

I have been using Avast Pro at home on my PC for the last two years and am very impressed with it. I just got a new laptop to run wirelessly along side the PC. Do I need to purchase another subscription for the laptop or is it possible to share the software.

Sorry for the stupid question, but I'm a computer dunce.

I was checking the Avast site and depending on what Avast Pro you have (Do you have Professional Family Pack edition or just Avast Pro?) This page may help answer your question.

Many thanks Roro I kinda figured there'd be a catch, basically I'll just buy another single licence.

Yeah, if you're using avast Pro in a new computer, you'll need a new license ;)

If your home computer is for "home" use only, you could downgrade to avast! Home and use your Pro license on the laptop. (Sorry Alwil for even suggesting this. ;D)
