Author Topic: STILL getting "cannot be loaded and has been disabled by Outlook" Error  (Read 2933 times)

I have tried Everything I found in this forum and still get the pop up message before Outlook 2007 fully loads. I have uninstalled both programs (Avast!5 and Outlook 2007) and then re-installed first) Outlook then Avast5 then a Second time re-installing Avast5 first.

This message will simply not go away. Deleting the "extend.dat" file in Docs/Settings does no good.
I have also used the Avast Uninstall Utility mentioned. Nope,,,No use.

Can anyone help?

Did you use any other antivirus before avast? Which one? How did you remove it?

I think all I did was update/upgrade from the 4.8 Avast. Seemed to be working fine with outlook before the update.
I would get the Avast splash screen when I would open MS Outlook 2007.
