Title: New to AVAST -- how to scan for virus

I was using AVG, but it wouldn't support my Me.  I was always able to scan my computer for virus by just clicking scan my computer.  I can't seem to find anything in AVAST like that.  Could someone direct me, perhaps it's listed as something else?  Thank You.

Right click the avast 'a' icon, select - Start avast! Antivirus, this opens the Simple User Interface, a skinned interface, see image 1 & 2.

You may find that strange at first, there are other skins or you can also use the skinless option, see image 3.

Thanks for the reply.  I was able to find the way to scan, however was unable to complete it so posted again for help.
