Hello.

I was alerted to something a few days ago and assumed that Avast would cure in an update. The messages about winlogin / explorer infections went away......but last night the screen was blank completely and when I went in via Safe Mode there is no restore points listed to roll back only one that was about 15 minutes before I booted into safe mode.

I noted that you like a new topic for each case and hence can you please suggest - tell me what tools to download (and from where) and what to do.

I have not started laptop since last night where as noted it did boot into safe mode.

I sincerely appreciate in advance...... Thanks
