First, I am very happy with the Avast mobile solution and thanks for providing it to us!
My question is, whether users (or Avast techies) feel it's better to leave location services on or off.
Personally, I prefer off and if an app (such as weather) needs to know a location, I type it in. Or, I turn location services on if I need navigation, then it gets turned off.
But if I have it off, and the phone were to be stolen, I then have no way for Avast to find it correct? Or will the mobile security software be able to turn on the GPS remotely? I don't see that as a command to be able to send the phone.
