avast page open always on firefox

is the 'Avast! browser security and web reputation' plugin that causes that the page always open. If i disable the plugin i solve the boring opening page. But There is no other way to maintain the plugin without always open the same page everytime I start the browser?  [Sorry to put this topic out of place....]
