I just installed Avast - that is the ONLY change I just made to my system. I ran a scan and it was all clean.

I have an Excel spreadsheet that I wrote with some macros for my bookkeeping. I can open it just fine.

The problem is when I go to save it. I cannot save it. It says: "Your changes could not be saved to 'books.xls', but were saveed to a temporary document named '13CC1000'. Close the existing document, then open the temporary document and save it under a new name."

Well, I do that and it still won't save it.

Before getting rid of Avast, is there any way to fix this issue?

Thanks.
