Why would the hell my pictures disappear on avast Pro interface?

Strange uh?
Aren't that pictures local? Why aren't being read and loaded?

The files are in <avast4>\images
I really don't know what happened... the page is rendered using IE engine... any changes to IE?

Oh, I've blocked access to IE into Default Programs...
The pictures are there, can I change anything to have them displayed and having remove access to IE into Vista settings?

It's happening in other programs...
I also restore the access to IE8 but the pictures aren't being shown...
Igor, any other idea?  :'(
