restore files from the virus chest
« on: April 23, 2010, 09:41:38 AM »
Helo,
I have a free avast 5.0 antivirus.
I have files infected with trojan horse in the virus chest. can somebody know how to restore these files?????i badly need help.

I did try to extract the files or restore the files in the virus chest but each time the files are getting to its original location , avast is taking the files again to the virus chest. I did disable scan for removable medias n did specify to take no action when viruses are found in the settings of the removable media but it does not work.  Whenever i have restored files n try to open them , it's giving me a runtime error and i can't even open the folders.

Can somebody please help me out?I badly need these files.

he said they're being caught again by the file shield when restored :D ...Tech are you really willing to help someone busy after restoring cracks? Yeah, of course he didn't mention what sort of stuff it is, but honestly ::)

I'm helping a forum user.
I'm not responsible for his actions.
I have to carry my "bad moments" and I received help from Alwil after being playing with fire.
I try not to judge anybody.
My thoughts.

I knew you were gonna answer that ::) the guy isn't asking for help to rescue his system after playing with fire, he's asking for help to restore cracks, and use them freely, and by helping him you're becoming part of that game whether you want to admit it or not.

Lets give the OP the benefit of doubt (by first asking for information) as no one knows for sure what these files are or what the malware name is. Yes we might have suspicions, but that is all.

@ yudevi
What is the malware name, what are the infected file names, where were they detected e.g. (C:\windows\system32\infected-file-name.xxx) ?
Windows 10 Home 64bit/ Acer Aspire F15/ Intel Core i5 7200U 2.5GHz, 8GB DDR4 memory, 256GB SSD, 1TB HDD/ avast! free 24.2.6105 (build 24.2.8918.824) UI 1.0.799/ Firefox, uBlock Origin, uMatrix/ MailWasher Pro/ Avast! Mobile Security
