Is FileHorse down ?

I am trying to download programs from FileHorse,

-http://www.filehorse.com/

but my firewall is blocking the downloads. It says that my browser can not access dl1.filehorse.com. Anybody else having this problem ?

Could it be the reason why my firewall is blocking IP 206.190.137.12 ? I already asked in Comodo Forums, but no answer yet.

I just tested it downloaded MBAM (using firefox download) and that worked just fine.

No. No luck for me. The same block

3 weeks ago I dowloaded some programs without problems. Now this.

Certainly something comodo firewall will have to answer on why the IP is blocked.

Hi DavidR.

Nothing wrong with FileHorse. Just that they decided to change port for downloads. Port 88. Comodo firewall has a setting for browsers that one of its rule is "All outgoing HTTP request" and "Block all others unmatched". For the HTTP request only ports 80, 443, 8080 are allowed so port 88 was "all others unmatched". I added the rule for port 88 to IE and left FF the same. If I need to download something from FH I'll use IE.

That's a bit restrictive, you only have to have a look at the avastUI > troubleshooting > redirected settings > Web, to see it has more listed (not 88),  though I though that all http connections were redirected.

Yes, it could be, but I have run Comodo FW for 5-6 years now and I have never had this situation browsing the web or downloading programs. It is really uncommom since I have been downloading programs from FH for more than a year now. Well the main thing is that it is fixed and that it was not some problem with the site or Comodo.
