"Negotiation with the server failed"
« on: May 09, 2014, 05:49:49 PM »
I decided to give SecureLine for iOS a try, and every time I try to connect through it, I get an error saying "negotiation with the VPN server failed".  I haven't purchased a subscription yet... could that be what's causing the problem?

Please help me fix this... I tried reinstalling the profile and the app, using "Connect on Demand", and almost everything.  :'(

Hi thesmo :)

There is not much you can fix I am afraid ...

Lets try this :

- Remove the avast! Secureline Profile,

- Remove the avast! Secureline App.

- Push the On/Off button and the Home button at the same time for about 10 sec untill you see the Apple logo.

- Install the avast! SecureLine app, install a profile and test again.

If that doesn't fix it, can you please test with another VPN service like TunnelBear ( it has a free plan you can use ).
