My list of things that need fixing.
« on: March 13, 2014, 05:22:39 PM »
1. my.avast.com error code 305. Happens very often.
Not beta related

2. Avast Online Security add-on crashes or slows down browsers.
Seems much better now in beta.

3. Grimefighter doesn't install even though during a custom install the box is checked.
Here now. ?

4. SafeZone doesn't open automatically while visiting sites that have been entered into it's settings.
Still doesn't open correctly.

5. Ads in the GUI and pop-up ads in the PAID version.
Nice work sales team! Hopefully, someday, you will wise up.

6. After reboot, the sandbox doesn't keep the list of automatically sandboxed processes.
This seems to be working in the beta.

7. Can't browse while in the sandbox due to excessive IE11 application errors. This is on two Windows 8.1 computers with different configurations.
Still have application errors

8. Upon opening SafeZone, there is a message that I need to install adobe flash player. Every time.
This message disappeared after I installed Firefox and adobe flash player for Firefox. Weird.

9. While creating a rescue USB the toolkit is downloaded to My Documents folder with no option to change this.
This is where personal files are stored. People have backups, syncs, etc. pointed towards this folder.
The file size of the PE Toolkit is around 1.5 gigs and will sync upon download or backup at scheduled time.
Is this acceptable to download something like this to personal folders?

This is an older complaint I mentioned and still hasn't changed.

Thanks

Regarding #5. Oh, looky here at what just arrived. The sales team never fails to disappoint even in the beta. Gotta make certain these ads display properly.

Pretty bad timing considering core components in my paid version don't work correctly.
