Minecraft Server
« on: January 27, 2012, 03:01:52 AM »
Today, I received a virus definition update and it removed my Minecraft_Server.exe. I tried downloading it again from Minecraft.net it Avast keeps flagging it as Malware. I've been messing around with the settings in Avast for a few hours and can't figure out a solution except for completely disabling Avast. Any help with this problem would be appreciated.

Windows 7 64
Avast! Pro Antivirus
Virus definition 120126-2
Program 6.0.1367

Thanks for reporting this. My son was also affected today and I was able to  duplicate on XP & Win7. He and his friends get online together almost every night to play and thought he was hacked at first.

I submitted the file for analysis and am crossing my fingers.

Hello,
