Hello,
About the log, here I am with the answer.
If I instruct Avast to ignore the file, it then seems not to be logged, and the most simple way to get a trace in that context is to get a screen copy while the alert is displayed.
As anyway I could not install MySql with the antivirus active, the most simple is to let Avast put the files to the quarantine.
Then, the quarantine is accessible at two places :
- down the Scan dialog box there is a Quarantine link
- the Statistics screen has a state of components category, and at the right of the corresponding user interface you see the number of elements in quarantine, and by clicking on quarantine you get the details.
In the list, the contextual menu of each element allows a certain number of operations, among which sending the file to Avast. From the dialog box to send the file to Avast it is possible to copy its path.
A further version could, possibly, include an easier way to report a file or a list of quarantined files, to ask a question about it ?
