Title: What do I do?
Post by: Jetimani on January 31, 2010, 06:40:34 PM
avast was recommended to me by a friend and am I glad about it.  I just ran a scan this morning and the results showed a virus.  I ran two boot scans and this is the message I got.

*RAW:C:\WINDOWS\Installer\vzam\VZAccessManager.msi|>Data1.cab|>phoenix.exe

Status:  ThreatWin32:Malware-gen
Results:  Error: The system cannot find the file specified

What can I do?  I have googled this and I am not finding anything helpful as to how to get rid of it.

Thanks!
Jetimani

Hi Jetimani,

It is look like false Positive, you may upload to : virustotal.com
to scan your files and analyze it, whether false positive or not?

Then you may post the link in here.
