Pen drive worm
« on: May 09, 2008, 01:09:51 AM »
Hey, just got something in my pen drive that avast! didn't catch.
It wouldn't allow you to open the pen drive.
There were three files:
NTrun.exe
j.cmd
autorun.inf

They were all flagged as system files. Unfortunately, I deleted the autorun.inf (which had some weird hex stuff), but I kept the CMD (seems encrypted) and the EXE.
Does anyone want them to check out?

Can you send the samples to virus@avast.com ?
You can zip and password the files... Inform a link to this thread and the password used.
You can send the files to Chest and, from there, resend to Alwil for analysis.
Thanks.
