wow....longest log i have seen this year....it may be a record   ;D

if you scan again with Malwarebytes you will see that there are som PUP detections..
these are not marked for removal by default....so if you want those removed also you must tic thme and then click the "remove selected" button

PUP (potentially unwanted program)

[OT] Just seen a longer MBAM 67.79KB one this morning, though it was large essentially the greatest majority of it was one adware type, but had masses of registry entries and tmp files, etc. so size isn't everything ;D [/OT]

I think avast Sandboxed the OTL Program so I lost the logs.

How do I get avast to not do that to the OTL?

Nevermind figured it out. Will start the scan again.

Yes, I think essexboy needs to edit his instructions on OTL to include the avast autosandbox feature and allow OTL to be opened normally (busy man).

Just to be clear, running the removal utility will uninstall Norton. So, only run it if that's what you want / need. I'm just mentioning this in case the "extra" security software you are using (from your point of view) is not Norton.

In any case, if you have a license for it, you may want to save it for the future.

OK I think I have run Rogur Killer, OTL, and Malwarebytes twice.  the only thing I have not run yet is aswMBR. Should I run it as well?

I also Removed Nortons.  I thought I had gotten rid of it.  I have not used anything but Avast in the past, I think, 5 years.

The Norton install is probably one that was preinstalled on the computer when new ?

yepp also do aswMBR and then it is just wait for Essexboy to arrive.....may take some hours
