adware got past avast!

AN ADWARE GOT PAST THE WEB SHEILD>.... WHAT IS WRONG!!!
the adware was adware,trymedia... luckily mbam caught it... but I thought avast's detection was decent... this virus has been around for a long long long time..

Can you post the edited link for it (hxxp...)?
Did you got any infected file? Can you send it for analysis?

... mbam already deleted it... sorry.. I think it came from a site likr railroad tycoon
