Avast! Shields Control Problem
« on: April 01, 2010, 02:18:15 AM »
I do not know if anybody else has this problem but when I disable avast! shields for (for example) 10 minutes after the time expires shields do not become enabled!?

P.S. I am using 5.0.462 version.

I've experienced this also... just it's not easy to describe the environment on which this occurs.
It should be working all the time, but it doesn't.

For me this works as stated and I only found this out by accident as I don't allow avast to restart on any timer.

If I stop a shield for a time I choose 10 minutes because that is the least duration and when I have done what I needed to do with the shield stopped I manually start it again. The other day I forgot to do that with the network Shield, but after 10 minutes it restarted as it should.

In my case I have been able to restart the shield(s) either by allowing
the timer or doing it manually with no headaches.
