Trustedinstaller.exe has been overwriten by viruses

i can tell that the file has been overwriten..

and windows update stopped working...

i might need that file..

could anyone upload it for me plz?

my os  is  vista ultimate SP2..

thx i saw that thread...

but that file was for vista ultimate sp1 64 bits

mine is                   vista ultimate sp2 32 bits

Do you have your OS disk?  You can pull the file off of it, and use the previous thread for instructions on how to replace the infected one.

the file on the disk was .iso(packed file)

i cant just pull the file..u know what im saying right?

i know that there is no other way except reinstall my system...

i just need that file... so please someone help me...just that file...please..

use something like magiciso (google for it) and mount the image.  Then, access it like a cd rom drive, and copy the file.

Who knows really, I'm sure that microsoft doesn't want a darn thing shared from their operating system or anything else they develop.

Doesn't mean I couldn't give it to him, then remove it off this site.

Either way, it doesn't matter because I don't have his OS available to me, so I can't give the file.  He should be able to get it himself though.

Does it matter what version of vista?

Mine is home premium...

As long as you have a 32 bit OS and SP2, I guess you could if you want.  Probably have to put it on rapidshare or somewhere like that if it's too big to be uploaded here.
