Here is proof that the sandbox works. Sure its a false positive but either way it works.

My autosandbox works so well it wont release my flash drive ;D
(bug that is known about and being looked into - unrelated here)

Seriously though, the autosandbox is more a precautionary thing, i.e. it can often flag something that based on whatever tests it does, but it doesn't necessary mean it is a definitely bad program/whatever.
More like it is saying that it could be bad, and better safe than sorry.

I have LOADS of apps that could cause a sandbox alert ;D
