disable self protect from DNM
« on: April 15, 2014, 12:51:05 AM »
Hi guys,

I need to remove avast 4.8 from about 75 client computers and a few servers.

Is there an easy way to do this?

Can I remove the client self protection from the DNM?

if there isn't an easy way, can I reconfigure the current clients from the DNM without the self protection module so I can push the uninstall tool from the GPO?

Thanks,

Carlos

Dear Carlos,

1) push an uninstall job from ADNM

OR

2) install avast! Endpoint as it is made install over the top of 4.8!  You can push this install from SOA or AEA.
