Buffer Overflow Error with each Boot
« on: July 11, 2013, 04:46:11 PM »
Since I installed Avast, each time turn my computer on, I get an error message that there is a buffer overflow and it also says "ntqueryvaluekey 2".  Avast then goes into a scan that last hours.  The boot scans that have been done show no viruses.  Do I have a problem, and if so, how do I remedy this?

I do not know how to post a screen shot.  I tried Control/Print Screen and that didn't work.  Any suggestions will be appreciated.

The Windows key + Print Screen is what works for me, the snipping tool is another option.

How to take it or how to post it?

You find attachment and other options just below the box you write in here

For how to, just google it or search youtube for a video
